Review Huawei Mate 30 Pro

This time, the design is the first sector to be reviewed in a Huawei Mate 30 Pro review. Mate Series Pro this time is packaged with a very elegant reflection. Because, with a glass-coated material, Huawei displays a glossy finish on the back of the screen. In Indonesia, Huawei only offers 1 color option, namely Space Silver. Although there are actually other color variants, namely Purple.

Shifting to the right-wing, Mate 30 Pro only has one power button. As for the volume buttons, users can double-tap the screen pad. Then automatically, the desired volume level setting will appear. While the left-wing appears smooth without a button.

Furthermore, at the top of the screen, there is an IR Blaster sensor. This is useful when Mate 30 Pro functions as a remote for other electronic devices. Meanwhile, at the bottom, visible audio holes, USB Type C, and dual Sim Card slots. For earphone use, Mate 30 Pro provides a USB Type C port which also functions as a charging port. The only offers dual SIM Card slots, which can be used also for additional storage.

Screen

In accordance with the global version, Mate 30 Pro in Indonesia carries the design of the ‘Horizon Display’ with an 88 degree curvature on both sides of the screen. The curved screen displays an impression without tingles on the right and left of the screen. This also shows the impression of a ‘flagship’ smartphone. Coming with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, Mate 30 Pro feels comfortable when used to scroll between applications, or is doing a ‘swipe up’ on Instagram.

Furthermore, despite carrying the ‘Horizon Display’ screen, there is no need to worry about the strength of the screen itself. Because, Huawei has packed it with Corning Gorilla Glass 6. Protection size of “Notch” which is wider than usual also does not interfere when the screen displays images or video.

In addition, there is also a finger print in display on the 1.1176 x 2,400 pixel resolution screen. Mate 30 Pro’s fingerprint scanning is quite fast, but Face Recognition specifically is different. Because the face scan takes a little slower than fingerprints.

Special screen resolution can also be set to HD + or FHD +. As for this is useful for adjusting the level of ‘clarity’ screen you want to get. If set to FHD +, the screen display is very ‘real’. To maintain the quality of the screen, Huawei provides time for 6 hours a day. This is calculated when the screen is in standby.
