OnePlus 7 and 7T series getting September 2020 security patch and more with the latest OxygenOS update

OnePlus is rolling out a new OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T series. It comes with the September 2020 security patch and fixes for several bugs.

OnePlus is starting to push the incremental rollout of OxygenOS 10.3.6 [India] for the OnePlus 7T, and 10.0.14 [EU & Global] will soon follow. You can check the complete changelog below:

  • Improve the system’s optimized power consumption and user experience
  • Fixes an issue that the alarm clock does not ring in some scenarios
  • Fixed unstable problems with messages in special cases
  • Resolve Flashback issue with some third-party applications
  • Fixed known issues and improved system stability
  • Updated Android Security Patch 2020.09

OnePlus has started emphasizing the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS 10.3.6 [India and Global] for OnePlus 7 Pro and will soon follow OnePlus 7 and 10.0.9 [EU]. You can check the complete changelog below:

There will be a staged rollout of this OTA. OTAs will receive a limited number of users today and a detailed rollout will occur in a few days after ensuring that there are no significant bugs.
