Samsung has had a busy year in the high-end smartphone market. In addition to
the company's three Galaxy S20 models, the manufacturer also launched the
Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G duo. The South Korean manufacturer
is also hatching big plans for the next Galaxy S series in January 2021.
This time is considered earlier than the usual Galaxy S series. That is also the
reason why the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra leaked much
information. Now the latest report comes from 91mobiles and a trusted Twitter
account has revealed many brand new specs.
Display, main camera, and battery
If you were hoping Samsung would revolutionize the mobile industry or
develop a breakthrough display with the upcoming Galaxy S21 trio, you will
probably be disappointed. Many rumors confirm that the Galaxy S21 Ultra is a
copy of "predecessor", only minor variations from the camera module inside.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G will have a 6.8-inch display that is
slightly smaller than the 6.9-inch display of the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G but retains
the same 108MP megapixel count of the main camera and a 5,000mAh battery
capacity. Another upgrade that could be implemented is that the Dynamic
AMOLED 2X display will jump from support for a 120 to 144Hz refresh rate
for a faster and smoother viewing experience.
Meanwhile, the 108-megapixel camera will make sure everything upscales in
real-world picture performance. Besides, Samsung will certainly have plans to
improve the hardware or software of the camera.
40MP selfie camera
Since the number of megapixels is not synonymous with image quality, many
users may not be able to discern a big difference between portrait selfies created
by the 40MP front camera on the Galaxy S20 Ultra and those taken from the
Galaxy 10MP selfie camera. Note 20 Ultra.
The good news is that maybe Samsung will use the 40-megapixel selfie camera
for the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, and the tech industry hopes it will bring some
upgrades and improvements from software optimization and hardware
With the 4 rear camera system, Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to integrate a
16MP super wide-angle camera, 10MP telephoto camera and … a second 10MP
telephoto camera instead of a 3D Time-of-Flight sensor.
Rumor has it that the device is capable of fast charging at 65W, but it seems that
the Galaxy S21 Ultra will only have 25 or 45-watt fast charging.
Another cool feature is its S Pen support, which could help some of Samsung's
most demanding fans make conversions faster. Along with the black, silver, and
purple color options available in early February, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is
expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor in markets like
the US. The remaining information such as the price, RAM, and internal
memory of the device has not been disclosed.
